1. Can I order Flow’s broadband Internet service without ordering or having Cable TV with Flow?
Of course you can. You can order Flow’s broadband Internet service without ordering Flow’s Cable TV service. You only have to pay the installation fee as applicable.
2. Do I need a telephone line to access Flow’s broadband Internet service?
No, you do not need a telephone line to access Flow’s broadband Internet service. Flow will install a cable modem which will give you access to our blazing speed Internet service.
3. Can I switch the computers or devices connected to Flow’s cable modem to surf the Internet?
Yes you can. You can switch your computer or router, but you have to press the reset button on back of the modem to allow your new device to use the Internet.
If you have a static IP address assigned from Flow, you would need to contact Flow to have the static IP address assigned to your new device. Once Flow makes that change and confirms for you, you will need to reset your modem before your new device can browse the Internet.
4. Are there any contractual agreements that would stop me from disconnecting my Flow broadband Internet service?
Flow’s broadband Internet is provided free of contracts. Therefore you can sign up and disconnect without any penalty.
5. Will my Internet service work when electricity goes?
Yes, it will work – Flow provides cable modems with batteries which provide up to four hours of life after an electrical outage.
6. Will I need a special computer to use my Flow Internet connection?
You do not need a special computer. However your computer, or other network appliance such as a router, which will be attached to the Flow cable modem must have an RJ45 Ethernet port, known as an interface, in order to use Flow’s broadband Internet.
7. Can multiple computers use a single broadband Internet connection?
You can share a single Flow broadband Internet connection between two or more computers. In order to do so, the customer would require a router which the computers will communicate with. If the computers can communicate wirelessly, then a wireless router would allow multiple computers communicating wireless to share the Flow broadband Internet connection. If the computer cannot communicate wirelessly, then the customer would need to have network cabling run from the computer to the router, which in turn would be attached to Flow’s cable modem.
8. If I need a router and/or network cabling provided to multiple rooms in my building, can Flow provide this service? Does Flow provide computers, switches, hubs or routers?
Flow does not provide these devices, appliances or these services. However, you can purchase a computer, switch, hub or router at any reputable electronic or computer store in Grenada.

9. Do I need a computer to browse the Internet with Flow’s broadband service?
Yes you do. You cannot browse the Internet through your television – a computer (desktop or laptop) is necessary to browse the Internet.
10. What about other Internet features?
Flow has made the following additional features available for its subscribers:
(i) Static IP addresses – A subscriber can request a static IP addresses assigned for his use. Depending on the package the subscriber orders, they will be entitled to a static IP address on request.
This static IP address will be assigned to the specific device or appliance (such as a computer or router) attached to Flow’s cable modem. If the subscriber needs to change the device attached to Flow’s cable modem, the subscriber will need to contact our Helpdesk in order to have the static IP address reassigned to a new device.
(ii) Email accounts – Flow also offers its broadband Internet subscribers email accounts for sending and receiving emails. Depending on the package the subscriber orders, they will have a given number of email accounts included in the package. However, additional email accounts can be purchased for a monthly fee on request.
11. Can I use Skype, MSN Messenger and Bit-Torrent, among other applications, with Flow’s broadband Internet service?
Of course you can. Flow does not block any of these services from functioning, so you are free to enjoy your favourite download, file sharing, peer-to-peer and online collaboration applications using Flow’s broadband Internet services.
12. How do I test the speed of my Internet connection?
Your Internet connection speed can be tested at speedtest.flowgrenada.com .
13. What is Flow's Broadband Usage Policy?
Flow's goal is to provide its customers with the best residential cable Internet service possible. In order to
help accomplish this, Flow has adopted this Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”). This Policy outlines
acceptable use of the Flow Broadband service (the “Service”). This Policy is in addition to any restrictions
contained in the Flow Agreement for Residential Services (the “Subscriber Agreement”). All capitalized
terms used in this Policy that are not defined here have the meanings given to them in the Subscriber
Agreement.
