1. Is there a charge to migrate from analog to digital?
No, any analog customer whose account is in good standing will not pay any fee to migrate to digital. Of course, the new charges associated with digital will apply.
2. Will new customers still be able to order analog?
Once we begin Flow Digital Video installations, any new customer requesting service in a broadband-ready area will only be entitled to digital video service. Customers would only get analog cable installations in non-broadband ready areas.
3. Do we have any HD (High Definition) channels?
Yes, currently HBO HD (with English audio) is available on Channel 203 for no additional charge for customers with the Flow Flicks (Movies) Pakage once they have digital video installed. Customers can look forward to MTV and Nickelodeon HD being added before the end of the year, which will be added at no additional charge once the customer has the appropriate package (Classic, FLow Family).
4. What type of set top boxes would customers need to view HD Channels?
The customer would need either a HD Set top box, available at $20.00 VAT inclusive monthly, or a Personal/Digital Video Recorder (PVR), available at $30.00 VAT inclusive monthly. Appropriate installation charges for each type of set top box will also apply.
5. Can a customer buy a Personal/Digital Video Recorder (PVR)?
Not at this time.
6. Can a customer have both analog and digital boxes on their account?
No, once a customer wants a digital set top box (e.g. a PVR), they will need to migrate to Flow Digital Video. therefore, for persons wishing additional outlets, they will only get these additional outlets once they migrate to Flow DIgital Video.
7. Does a customer with the Classic Package pay EC$49.99 + EC$69.99?
No, customers with the Classic Package only pay EC$69.99 (VAT inclusive) plus the charges for the set top box of their choice (Standard Definition, HD or PVR), and will have access to the channels in the Economy Package, plus the additional channels that the Classic Package contains.
